Ramadan Iftari Programme (Feed to Poor during Ramzan)

Attended by very needy and deserving people. Fresh, hot and sumptuous varieties of dinner is served for the whole month of Ramadan. About 600 people attend daily out of which 400 are men and 200 children at Baitul Qayam and about 250 Rozadars attend at Dayar-e-Khamush. It is observed that these people are so poor and deserving that this dinner (Iftari) also helps them as their breakfast (Saheri).

Every year we conduct competitions in recitation of Holy Quran for children as well an Islamic Quiz in which they are given prizes. The volunteers who work very hard for Iftari arrangements and organizing competitions are rewarded with presents as a token of appreciation. A Darz is also conducted around 50 people attend the same.

If a momeen wishes to pay for one complete Iftari he/she can send Rs 15,000 or $ 360. A donor can also send his contributions in kind i.e. rice, dal, sugar, meat etc or donations of any amount or any Momeenin desirous of sponsoring the entire holy month of Ramzan Iftari He/She can obtain sawab-e-jariya.

Our foreign donors are request to send their remittances in favour of Khoja Ithna Ashri Welfare Body by bank draft or cheque.
